American Car Craft Collects Top Honors as Supplier of the Year
Effingham, IL – The first weekend of April, select suppliers to Mid America Motorworks gathered at Mid America Motorworks corporate campus for the third annual M-Curve Quality Supplier Summit. This two day event incorporated numerous suppliers, from various regions of the United States. While all suppliers who attended received thanks and appreciation, Mid America Motorworks bestowed American Car Craft the top award for 2009. Mike Yager said: “American Car Craft was able to take our 2008 Supplier Summit to heart. They were not only able to double their business with Mid America Motorworks, but fashioned a better working relationship between the two companies.” Ricardo Rivera and Lisa Layton, both of American car craft, were elated with their M-Curve Quality Supplier Summit award. Upon receipt of the award, a short acceptance speech was given.
Mid America Motorworks also announced additional awards for this year’s winner, American Car Craft will receive the following: a full page in the 2009 Funfest Corvette book, front and back page catalog placement for their products, and a free access pass to all VIP areas including the Friday evening reception and Saturday night concert. M-Curve Supplier Summit event coordinator, Lee Ann Willenborg, said: “This is just a prime example of two companies working together. In addition to their valiant efforts, we have rewarded them with some perks in the hope of creating an even better relationship.”
Annually, Mid America Motorworks partners with over one thousand suppliers. The Summit is designed to recognize the outstanding efforts taken by those suppliers in maintaining strong relationships from which all involved parties, customers included, ultimately benefit. This year’s Summit included tours of the Mid America Motorworks and Performance Choice facilities, and round table discussions. Ron Kinder, of Dale Carnegie Training, ended the summit with a tremendous keynote speech.
